Roussas family vineyard is at an altitude of 400 meters in the locality of Vrachos, on the foothills of Mount Othrys, Central Greece. The slope is steep and the soil is sandy and gravely with good drainage. Our philosophy at Roussas Wine is to produce the highest quality wines from grapes cultivated with environmental awareness, and the goal to obtain maximum consumer satisfaction.
Organic agriculture is our passion and the best way to secure more balanced, healthy and productive vineyards, ultimately resulting in a superior grape quality and thus better wines. Our constant challenge and aim are to create wines with remarkable character and identity, continually looking for the greatest articulation of terroirs.

We have planted Malagousia, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah, varietals. The vines have adapted well to the soil and microclimate showing robust, healthy growth. Only well digested natural animal fertilizer is used and the viniculture is certified organic. The natural mineral wealth of the soil has never been depleted by intense hi-tech agricultural methods.


Varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon & Syrah

Characteristics: Color dark ruby with brown flashes. Aromas of black fruits and spicy and sweet peppers, distinctive floral notes and skin hints. Balanced with delicious acidity and fine tannins.
Serving temperature: 18 – 20 °C

Varieties: Malagousia & Chardonnay
13% vol
Characteristics: Light lemon in colour with greenish flashes. Intense calming aroma, tropical fruit aromas along with nature notes and green pepper. Tasty and coolly acidity followed by good after-taste duration.
Serving temperature: 8 – 10 °C
